"Change" is our second record. It came to life differently than our first. We tracked "Shelf Life" live, then we cut it up and experimented with how to put it back together. We built the songs on "Change" layer by layer in our home studio (Art Garden Studios in MPLS, MN). The foundations are demos from late 2012, and it took many years of experimentation, new equipment, and learning before we got the direction right. We finally started to hear what the record was supposed to be in early summer 2019. Our friend Alexander Young added live drums to a few songs that summer, and after another season of mix tweaks we were satisfied. We released Change on February 11, 2020.
